Chennai Express is doing fantastic
business on Independence Day. The film started with 30% occupancy in the
morning show and reached up to 60-80% in later shows. Today, film lost some
screens due to new release Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Doubara which is released
on very limited screens 1200 +.
Today it is available on 2600-2700
screens but from tomorrow it will available on 1600-1700 screens. Overall film
is doing fantastic business on seventh day and early trend shows 15 crores
collection. That means film will be cross mark of 150 crores in first week. But
from tomorrow it will get competition with OUATIMD and its business will get
affected.
