Hollywood film “Wolverine” had
finished first weekend on Indian box office, film did decent business on
weekend and collected around 12 crores that is above average business for a
Hollywood. The film was able to make big buzz in India but in reality, it could
not take that kind of opening and big jump on Saturday & Sunday.
Film fails to reach around 1st weekend
business of Amazing Spiderman, Skyfall, Iron Man 3 and even Steel Man. As far
as business on weekend is concerned it collected around 3.15, 4.10 and about 5 crores
on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Total domestic collection is around 12.25
crores. Figure can vary, because reports from all centers are yet to come…
Though film did better business than
any Hindi film released on this Friday but business of Wolverine would be considered
above average. The film should finish first week around 15-16 crores and life
time looks around 20-22 crores.
