Bhag Milkha Bhag is rocking on the box office; there is no affect
of new releases film “Ramaiya Vastabhaiya” and “D-Day”. Film sustains
reasonable number of screens space in 2nd week and continues first week
performance. Film is doing exceptionally well in Delhi and Gurgaon and some
other big cities where occupancy on Saturday was up to 80-90%.
Film’s performance in multiplex and in metro cities is fantastic
and if it touched 90 crores mark, it won’t be surprising; film is dominating
box office and does not seem that any film can give any competition. Film is
rocking and it’ll continue.
If we talk about second Friday business, film did fantastic
business and left all film behind in race of collection. Film collected more
than both new films on Friday and Saturday. It is craze of film among public.
Film collected 3.95 crores on Friday and further took big jump on Saturday.
Saturday collection should come around 5.35 crores. And film can collect 15-16
crores on second weekend. Figure can vary, reports from a lot of place is still
to come. Film has collected 60.70 crores on home box office after 9 days
business and expected to collect around 23 crores in 2nd week.
As far as overseas business is concerned, film is doing fantastic
business and so far collected around 12.25 crores that is wonderful figure for
Farhan Akhtar starrer sole film. Film will reign on the box office till Chennai
Express release and can touch surprising figure. Right now, life time
collection looks around 80 crores plus but the way it is performing in second
week can cross 90 crores or more figure.
