Policegiri had started slowly on
Friday and collected around 3 crores. Film received negative reviews and word
of mouth is also not enthusiastic so future looks dismal. As far as performance
is concerned it did better business on single screens but remain below average
in multiplex.
Film should take big jump on coming
days for decent weekend but it looks difficult form Saturday performance. Instead
of taking jump, it showed drop and collected around 2.75 crores. Now, two days
total collection is 5.75 crores. Film should show some jump on Sunday but right
now, weekend collection looks around 9 crores.
Most probable this is last film of
Sanjay Dutt as a lead actor and when he will come out from jail after three and
half year punishment he might get lead role. Experts says, his career as a lead
actor has finished and he might get any role in future. Right now his current
film is not performing well and future of this film looks dark. Amir Khan
starrer Peekay may give freshness but Sanjay Dutt’s career is almost finished.
