Ramaiya Vastabhaiya has taken average opening
on Friday. The film had started slowly in morning show with 20% occupancy but it
grew slightly by word of mouth. Film took decent growth in mass areas and
remains low at multiplex.
Film should collect around 4 crores on
First day that is little bit less that expectation due to huge promotion and enough
screen space. Grirish Turaini is starting his career with this film; his father
is launching him as a lead actor, besides him there is Shruti Hassan in lead
role.
But films business is depend on
content and word of mouth. Film is suppose to have good content because it is
remake of blockbuster Telugu film which is itself inspired by 80’s film Maine
Pyaar Kiya. So film is largely depending on word of mouth. Film should take
good jump on Saturday and Sunday and finish first weekend decently.
