D Day has taken average opening as expected;
the film had started slowly in the morning show with about 15-18% occupancy but
film take decent jump in the evening and night show. Positive and strong aspect
of this film is that it gets super reviews and word of mouth is super strong so
we can expect it will take huge jump on Saturday and Sunday.
Since it is a crime thriller film so
there is little bit doubt that it will taken big jump because this kind of film
has a limited audience group but plus point with D Day is its content with flavor
of patriotism.
If we talk about first day business it
collected around 3 crores and
expected to do well on coming days and finish weekend with decent figure. Film
has to do well because its budget is huge 85 crores. To get hit status it has
to collect around 150-160 crores which looks very difficult as trend developed
on Friday.
