“Lootera” had done decent business
in first week and grossed 25.50 crores but film fail to pull audience into
theater in second week. Film dropped heavily despite good reviews and grossed
only 4.20 crores. Though film has not bad content but it fails to impressed audience.
Most probably, cause behind
sudden drop may be mood of audience, from last few months love story film is
doing very well, for example, Aashiqui 2 and Ranjhana. Overall film has almost finished its run and
grossed 29.70 crores on home box office at the end of 2nd week.
Film had done good business in first week on overseas centers and grossed 6.75 crores and bring total worldwide collection around 36.45 crores.
