“Zanjeer” has completed first week with disappointing figure and there
is no hope for film. Symptom of disastrous performance was appeared on very first
day when it took below average opening and it got clearer on weekend. A 75
crores’ budgeted film collected only 9.33 crores on weekend. Now, there is no
any sanjivini which revives it; destiny is written over wall in clear and bold
later. This is biggest disaster of the year.
If we talk about weekdays’ performance, it showed drop on each
passing and collected consecutively 1.95, 1.18, 1.01 and 1.00 crores on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Now, total domestic collection is around 14.47
crores and life time will stay around 18 crores. This is figure of Hindi
version, the story of Telgu version is not different. Total collection of both version is around 23 crores.
