“Shudh Deshi Romance” is a romantic comedy film starrer
Shushant Singh Rajput and Parniti Chopra. The film took fantastic opening on
Friday day and collected around 6.4 crores. Film got positive word of mouth and
took good jump on Saturday and collected 7.70 crores. In first two days film
has collected around 14.10 crores. This is very good trend for a small budget
film with new cast. It is giving tough competition to remake of "Zanjeer" and will dominated box office this week.
If we talk about Sunday performance, film started with around
60-70% occupancy in multiplex and metros in the morning show and improved by
each passing show. Overall film took very good jump and did fantastic business
in multiplex and single screens. .
Though reports from all centers are not yet received but the
trend show Sunday collection should be around 8.75-9.00 crores and finish
weekend around 23.30 crores. Monday will be crucial, if does well then nobody stop
it to get super hit status. Right now, 1st week collection looks around 35 crores what is its budget.
Shushant Singh Rajput who started his career with hit film “Kai
Po Che” last year seems to give another hit film. Parniti Chopra has already
made her identity in the industry.
