“Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Doubara” continues disappointing
performance on third weekend. The film never stand any competition to either "Chennai Express" or later released film "Madras Cafe" or "Satyagraha". This is completely unexpected performance, nobody
had even thought in dream that this film will perform like this. The film was
expected to be biggest hit of Akshay Kumar and earn more than 150 crores but
the way it is performing, is below dignity of Akshay Kumar.
There are many reason of bad performance but main cause is indifference
of Akshay’s fans and content. If there is good content film does well whether
critic’s reviews are worst. Akshay should check out script before singing
otherwise he would get such kind of result.
Let us come to the 3rd weekend performance; the film performed
poorly and collected consecutively 40, 45 and 50 lakhs on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday. The film collected only 1.35 crores on third weekend that means it will
collect around 2 crores in third week. Now, total domestic collection is 62.10
crores. Next week it will be out of most of screen and finish runs around 65
crores. Budget of film is 85 crores that mean loss of 20 crores.
