Himmatwala
has taken decent opening on day first. The film had started slowly in the
morning show with 25-30% occupancy in multiplex and 35-45% in single screens
but later grows as day grows; overall occupancy across the country was around
35% in day. It has taken very good start in mass belt like Bihar, UP, CI, CP,
Gujrat and Maharashtra but below mark in Mumbai, Delhi,NCR and West Bangal.
The film will
grow in evening and night show and that will decide final opening day
collection. It should be around 15-16 crores. It is sure, this film is going to
biggest opener of Ajay Devgyn’s career but it will be interesting to see; will
it cross “Race-2” opening day collection?
Since, the
film has released over 3300 screens so even an average opening will give about
10 crores opening. Today is Good Friday, a festive day, so it will take
advantage and finally collect good figure on first day. So far it has received
mixed response but real figure will clear later.
