Three films “The
Attack of 26/11, I, me aur Main and Bloody Ishaq” released on 1st March. All
films took less than expected opening.
The Attack of 26/11
If we talk
about “The Attack of 26/11” , this film is based on real incident happened in
Mumbai on 26th November, 2008 when some terrorist had attacked on Mumbai and killed
lots of people. The film is made on a big problem which India is facing from
decades, so there was big expectation with this film but the performance of the
film was not good on opening day. The film started with 15% occupancy and did
not improve much in later shows. It is expected that first day collection would
come around 2-3 crores, the figure is not yet clear. Now, its fate depend of
critics reviews and word of mouth.
I, me aur Main
Now, come to
“I, me aur Main” this is off beat film of John Abraham who usually does action
and comedy film in a multi starrer film. The film was promoted well and
expected to open well, but the truth is different, the film stared below
expectation on Friday. Occupancy in the initial show was around 18-20%. Now,
its business is depending of word of mouth. If it earns positive public
response then it will improve on coming days. The film should collect in the
range of 2.5-3.5 crores on opening day.
Bloody Ishaq
And lastly
we will talk about “Bloody Ishaq”; this film is a small film and it was not
promoted properly. The film did not get good opening and at many places shows
were cancelled. Let see what happens on coming days.
