RACE-2” is a sequel of super hit film “RACE” came in 2008. The film is produced under Tips Music Films banner and directed by Abbas-Mastan. Saif Ali Khan is in lead role along with john Abrahim, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jackline Frandise, and Amisa Patel.

In first part Akshay Khanna, Katrina Kaif and Bipasa Bashu was among the lead actors but in “Race-2” they did not get place. Akshay Khanna and Katrina Kaif’s character were finished in first part as Akshay was killed in a car accident and Katrina’s identification as his girl friend. Bipasa Bashu could not get place.   

The movie is very hot in the market; sure to emerge as first hit film of 2013.  It would be interesting to see will it cross the bench mark set by “Race”. In first two weeks there is no competition, fair chance to does a healthy collection; 1st week collection should come around 60 crores.

 But in third week, it will face tough competition with another big film Akshay’s “Special Chabbis”. It is heard that the content is so nice that Akshay got ready to work on this project just on half of his fee. So “Race-2” will face touch competition and lost a good number of screens in 3rd week.

The film is going to release over more than 2400 screen so opening day collection should come around 12-14 crores.
