“Matru Ke
Bijli Ka Mandola” has done less than expected business on first two days. The film
showed unexpected fall on Saturday and collected 6.15 crores. This is point to
ponder for film-maker. The film got “A” certificate from censor board and its
affect is seen from first day. The film has a good content but it is not able
to attract audience.
Performance
of the film was very dull on mass centers on Friday and Saturday. Its
performance on multiplex was also not satisfactory, its an average business
except few places. The film can take some jump on Sunday and first weekend
collection would come around 18-20 crores as well as first week collection around
25 crores. Performance of the film is also not satisfactory on international
box office and it can fetch only few crores.
Now, it will be interesting to see; how film
is doing on Sunday and weekdays. The film has not much time, next week “Race 2”
is releasing and it will give tough competition to this film. Life time
collection looks around 30-32 crores.
