“Matru Ke
Bijli Ka Mandola” has collected 31.15 crores worldwidely in run of 5 days. The film
is doing average business on home box office but performance on international
box office is not up to mark.
The film had
done well on Monday, took some advantage of Makar Sankranti and Pongal but on Tuesday,
it showed a fall of about 24% and collected about 1.80 crores. Now, in five
days domestic collection is 28 crores. The film is getting disadvantage of “A”
certificate and as the film is performing on the home box office it looks difficult
to get the status of hit film.
First week
collection will come around 32 crores but next week “Race 2”, a sequel of super
hit film “Race” is releasing on big scale and it will take a big number of
screens, so business on onward day would be difficult. Budget of the film is 40
crores and right now, life time collection looks around 42 crores.
