After doing
fantastic business on first weekend “Race 2” did an average business on Monday.
There was around 50-60% drop from Friday which is less than usual drop. The
film managed to collect 7.00 crores which brings the total domestic collection
around 58.50 crores in four days.
The film
should collect around 20-24 crores on weekdays and first week collection would
come around 73 crores. There is fair chance to cross the milestone of 100
crores; if it happened, it would be first film of Saif Ali Khan. His co-actor
John Abraham and Deepika Podukone have already joined 100 crores club.
In four day’s
run, the worldwide collection is 68.00 crores. The film has no competition till
8th February so we hope it will continue it performance on coming days. On 8th
February, Akshay’s “Special Chabbis” will release and it will take a big number
of screens and present a tough competition. Right now, the life time collection
looks around 100-102 crores on home box office and 129 crores Worldwidely.
