"Race 2" had
taken scintillating opening of 15.15 crores on Friday which was more than
expectation. The film took great advantage of national holiday, “Republic Day”
and done earth shattering business. The film did super performance across the
country, especially, at Metros; like Delhi, NCR, Mumbai, Banglore and other
metros.
The film
showed great jump on Saturday and managed around 20 crores which is great
achievement for Saif Ali Khan’s film. The film is already registered as biggest
opener of Saif, John and Deepika’s film and it is time to celebrate this moment
for these actors.
The film is
doing stupendous business on home box office and so at international box
office. In two days, it collected around 35 crores on home box office and 42.55
crores worldwidely. Now, first weekend collection looks around 50 crores and
1st week collection around 70 crores.
Real test of
the film will start on Monday. It has not any competition in this week and nor
in 2nd week and there is fair chance to cross the milestone of 100 crores.
