Dabangg 2 collected
193.70 crores worldwidely in 16 days. The film did stupendous business across
the globe in two weeks but now, getting tough competition with new films in 3rd
week.
The film did
well on 3rd Saturday and collected around 2.05 crores which brings the total
domestic collection around 147 crores nett. The film had collected 1.70 crores
on 3rd Friday. It will take some jump on Sunday and 3rd weekend will come
around 7 crores.
3rd week
collection looks around 10-12 crores which bring the total domestic collection
around 156 crores. The film has also done very good business on overseas centers
and so far it has collected 46 crores.
Now, film has lost a big number of
screens due to new release “Matru Ke Bijli Ka Mandola” which is released over
1800 screens; therefore business of the film is affected in big way. Next week,
“Race 2” will release and Dabangg 2 will almost disappear from screens.
The life
time domestic collection looks around 158-160 crores and overseas collection
around 48 crores as well as lifetime worldwide collection around 207-209
crores. The film has already got the status of super hit film and now, at the
end of third week, it will get the status of blockbuster film.
