“Talaash” took fantastic
opening on Friday. The film took outstanding opening in multiplexes and metros
where occupancy was around 85-90%% but occupancy in the mass areas was not up
to mark and it should have to improve there on coming days. The film started
slowly in the morning shows; even in multiplexes but later it accelerated in
further shows and at some places occupancy crossed the mark of 90%.
Overall, the film has taken very good opening across the
country and further business of film is depends on public response which is
mixed on day first and similar trend is on day 2nd in single screens. The film
received mixes critics review; one of the top critics, Taran Adarsh has given
4.5 out of 5 and NDTV 3.5/5. The film has collected around 14.55 crores on day first
As the trend has received on Saturday, its performance is outstanding
in multiplex but disappointing in mass areas. It is doing good on Saturday and
2nd day collection would be more than 1st day around 15-17 crores. The film will take good jump on Sunday
and fetch a handsome amount. fist weekend collection looks around Rs. 54-56 crores.
The film has already earned more than 100 crores in the form of theatrical right, satellite right and
music right that means film is super hit before release. The film has full
seven days to perform on the box office. Next week another super star, Akshay
Kumar’s film “Khiladi 786” will release and it will give tough competition but
presently it will be interesting to see; will
“Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and “Son of Sardar” give any kind of competition to
this film?
