“Talaash” completed
3 week on home box office and collected 92.35 crores. Now, after release of
Dagnagg 2, it is out of almost theaters. The film did well on home box office
and declared hit film by box office India but could not cross the mark of 100
crores.
Since it as Amir Khan’s film after 3 years so there was a
great expectation but it could not pacify audience curiosity. People was expecting
content like his previous film “Three Idiots” but this film is a different kind
of film, a suspense thriller, simply a entertaining movie. So it could not get
that kind of response.
On the whole, the film did good business and got the status of
hit film. In the journey of 3 weeks it collected 135.60 crores worldwidely. The
film also did good business on overseas centers and fetched 43.25 crores. So, the
life time collection on domestic box office would come around 93 crores and
worldwide collection around 136 crores.
