Talaash 1st Week Worldwide Collection

“Talaash” completed 1st week fantastically and garnered 104 crores worldwidely. The film did fantastic business on both domestic and overseas centers. Since it is Amir Khan’s film so expectation was high, but like his previous film “3 Idiots”, content of this film is not so high and there is no message or humor. Performance of the film can be said satisfactory.

The film did fantastic business on weekend but performance on weekday was not stables and each passing day it showed drop. It showed further drop on Thursday and collected 3.45 crores which brought the total domestic collection around 67 crores. The film also showed some drop on overseas on weekday and managed over 36 crores.

So far, the film has done good business but 2nd week is going to be tough. Akshay’s “Khiladi 786” is releasing today on mass level and it will stand a big challenge for it. So to reach around 100 crores on home box office looks very difficult. As the trend has developed; life time collection looks around 85-90 crores domestically and 140-145 crores worldwidely. The film will finish its run in three week.
