“Talaash” is just
6 crores away from milestone of 100 crores and in next one or two days it will
cross this mark worldwidely. The film is doing good business on domestic centers
and awesome business on overseas centers. It finished weekend with satisfactory
amount but business on weekday’s are little bit less than expectation.
The film showed some fall, about 10% on Tuesday and collected
Rs. 5.95 crores. In general, it is not a bad amount but it is Amir Khan’s film
so its little bit less than expectation. Right now, the film is doing good business and
in five day it domestic collection approached to 60 crores and first week
collection will come around 67-70 crores.
The film has good contend as I receiving reaction of audience
but it cannot be compared with his previous film. A suspense thriller movie has
its own audience groups so this film cannot get mass attraction. The film is
doing good business in multiplex and metros but performance in single screens,
mass area, is average. Since, the film
is getting mixed public response so big collection is not possible.
2nd week would be difficult for film due to massive release
of Akshay’s “Khiladi 786”. And right now It is difficult to predict 2nd week
business but it should come around 20-25 crores. As the trend has developed; life
time collection looks around 85 crores domestically and 140 crores worldwidely.
