Cocktail is an upcoming Bollywood film. This is a romantic comedy film produced by Illuminati Films, maker of “Love Aaj Kal”. Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone is in lead roles. This is third film of this pair. Before this they had worked together in Love Aaj Kal and Aarakshan. Cocktail is home production of Saif Ali Khan and it is directed by Homi Adajania.
The story of film is based on love triangle with debutante Diana Penty & She is second lead role as Mira (third angle). After giving a super hit of 2008 as Love Aaj Kal, the romantic Jodi of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone are ready to rule again the silver screen with Cocktail. The story of Cocktail revolves around the complications of Love and confused Friendship with Fun.
It will be the first movie where Deepika will be looking in Bikini. She will be in a red hot bikini with her naughty action scenes. Whereas Saif Ali Khan seems to be in the role of a flirty boy again. The other cast of film is Boman Irani and Randeep Hooda. Previously, Imran Khan was signed on to play the lead role opposite Padukone.
Shooting of the film was started at the end of May 2011, in London. Many scenes have been shot there. Theatrical trailer is launched on the 21 of May, 2012.
The music of Cocktail is composed by Pritam. One of the songs is a friendship song and it is sung by Neeraj Shridhar. The producers have also bought the rights of a famous Pakistani song, which has been revised slightly. Angreji Beat (Punjabi song) is sung by Gippy Grewal & Yo YO Honey Singh.
