India defeated Pakistan in 2nd T-20 match

India defeated Pakistan in a sensation Twinty-Twinty cricket match by 11 runs and level the series of 2 matches. Indian captain and Pakistani lift the trophy combined.

India lost the toss and invited to bat first by Pakistani captain. India stared their inning fantastically and made 192 for 5 in 20 overs. Yuvraj singh and Mahendra Singh played a scintillating inning of 72 runs and 38 runs. India set a target of 193 runs for Pakistan to win.

In reply Pakistan started slowly in first two weeks but afterward played well. Captain Hafeez played a super inning of 55 runs. Jamshed also played 44 runs but both of batsman could not save Pakistan from defeat.

Yuvraj singh declared man of the match and Mohamad Hafeez man of the series. Now India and Pakistan will play one day series of 3 matches.

Shonakshi Sihna had debuted in the film industry through Dabangg in 2010 which was all time blockbuster; earned more than 1.4 arab (140 crores) on home box office and more than 2arab (200 crores) worldwidely.

In last three years she has worked in five films, out of five, four crossed the milestone of 100 crores. Only one film “Joker” was not successful due to weak content and avoidance of lead actor Akshay Kumar, who had some issue with film maker.

 In year 2012, her first film “Rowdy Rathore” with Akshay Kumar appeared as tornado on box office and shattered all previous record of non-holiday opener. The film earned 136 crores on home box office and got the status of all time blockbuster. Second film was “Joker” which could not do much but third film “Son of Sardar”, released on the grand occasion of Deepawali, earned 105 crores on home box office and got the status of hit film. And her 4th and last film  “Dabangg 2” released on 21st December, crossed the mark of 1 arab (100 cr) on 6th day and extending towards big hit.

There is an interesting coincidence that Dabangg 2 has snatched the title biggest non-holiday opener form Rowdy Rathore but Sonakshi is still holder of biggest non-holiday opener; because she is lead actress of both films. Her film, “Rowdy Rathore” was biggest opener till 20^th December and after 20th December, her film “Dabangg 2” is biggest non-holiday opener. Nothing change, she is still holder of biggest non-holiday opener, only name got changed.

So far no any actress has given 3, 1 arab/100 crores plus film in a year. Of course, she is first actress of the film industry who did so. Really, 2012 has been very fine and lucky year for Sonakshi Sinha.

Dabangg 2  crossed the bench mark of 100 crores on domestic box office in 6 days.

 Dabangg 2 is rocking across the globe and getting new achievement. On very first day, it got the honor of being biggest non-holiday opener and now only in six day, crossed the bench mark of 1 arab/100 crores on home box office. This is pleasant news for film maker Arbaaz Khan and lead actor Salman Khan as well as great achievement for rising star Sonakhi Sinha who gave her third centuries (3 100 cr, film) in one year.

The film is doing good business on weekday and collecting a decent amount. The film did similar business on Thursday and collected around 7.50 crores and this amount brings the total domestic collection around 108 crores. Dabangg 2 is also doing scintillating business on international box office and fetched around 28 crores in one week. Now the total worldwide collection is around 130 crore.

 There is no big release in 2nd week except a Hollywood release which can give competition in multiplex but there is no any competition in single screens where it is ruling. But the business will be affected by Indo Pak 20-20 Cricket series. The film should do good business in 2nd week and fetch around 25-30 crores.

Domestic lifetime collection looks around 160 crore and overseas lifetime around 40-45 crores as well as 200-205 crores.

Dabangg 2, Thursday: 6th day Worldwide Collection (Wednesday)

Dabangg 2 has done stupendous business till Tuesday but the performance on Wednesday was below expectation.

Dabangg 2 has done stupendous business till Tuesday but the performance on Wednesday was below expectation. The film showed sudden drop of 50% on Wednesday from Tuesday and collected only 7.50 crores. 

Performance of the film was good on Tuesday, “Christmas” but less than expectation. It may be affected of India Pakistan 20-20 match. But drop on Wednesday surprised everyone.

The film could not cross the mark of 100 crores on 6th day, if it had crossed, it would have been a great gift for Salman Khan because today is Salman’s birthday. The film will join Arabian league (100 cr) on 7th day and fetch a good number on 2nd weekend. It has three week’s time to perform without any competition.

Dabangg 2 performed below expectation on Wednesday and accumulated 7.50 crores. In six day it grossed 99.90 crores and first week collection looks around 106 crores.

  

OVERSEAS PERFORMANCE & COLLECTION:

The film is doing scintillating business on overseas center and grossed around 26.10 crores just in 5 day. The film is doing exceptionally well at USA and UAE where it has collected 5.60 crores and 7 crores.

 Dabangg 2 is ruling over Box Office. The film has done extraordinary performance across the globe and in just 5 days crossed the mile stone of 1 arab (100 cr) worldwidely. 

The scintillating performance continues across the country as cold wave in North India; there is no much affect of either cold wave in northern part of the country or long awaited Indo Pak cricket series.

The film did fantabulous business on Tuesday and gathered a huge amount around 19.50 crores. Occupancy in the morning shows and day time shows were around 65-70%. 

The film did superb business in some region like Bihar, Rajsthan, CP and CI where most of the theaters were houseful. Performance in metro cities, UP , Punjab and other places were also very good. Akshay's New year blast: Special Chabbish

Akshay Kumar is set to open his account in new year 2013 by super hit film. His upcoming film "Special Chabbish" got through to draw people's attention and in just four days it promotion on You Tube has been seen more than six laksha time. 



The film is going to release in month of February but promotion is already started just after release of "Khiladi 786" which is still running in the theaters. 

 

Akshay started promotion with new ideas; most of the newspaper and website is full of a fake CBI raid. Special promotion campaign for Special Chabbish". This peculiar promotion has drew attention of masses. Most probable it would be first film of Arabian league (100 cr) Rs.one billion on home box office. 

4th Day, Monday Box Office Collection of Dabangg 2

Dabangg 2 did ordinary business on Monday if consider the number of screens. There was about 50% fall from Sunday and it collected 13 crores. The fall is natural and it happens on weekday so it does not matter. The film continues extraordinary business and grossed 77.50 crores on home box office. The film had done superb business on Sunday and collected huge number 24.60 crores.  

Now, it has good opportunity to  take another big  jump on Tuesday, due to Christmas holiday, and  collect a huge number, the figure can be more than Sunday; so there is fair chance to touch the milestone of century of crores (100 cr) in first week and film will register its name in Arabian Club.

The film is doing super business in single screens but performance in multiplex is ordinary and it can affect the business. Real test of the film will begin after Christmas holiday on weekday when long awaited Indo Pak cricket series will begin. Certainly, business of the film will affect.

The film is doing fantastic business on overseas center and grossed 11.50 and it will grossed over 20 crores in first week.
