Despite losing
a good number of screens in second week “Special Chabbis” rocks on the box
office. The film did fantastic business on second weekend and collected 10.30
crores. There is no competition with new films either it is “Murder-3” or
“Jayanti Bhai Ki Love Story” or if any film is giving any kind of competition
than it is ABCD which released last week.
The film did
good business on second weekend and collected 2.40 crores on Friday, 3.50
crores on Saturday and 4.40 crores on Sunday. At the end of 2nd weekend total
domestic collection is 54.70 crores. It is expected that it will perform well
on weekday and second week collection would come around 15 crores.
It has to
continue this performance in third and fourth week to reach around 75 crores’
mark. If it had released on more screens and did not lose a good number of
screens in second week, then it had crossed the benchmark of 100 crores. Right
now lifetime looks around 72-75 crores domestically and 85 crores worldwidely.
