1st and 2nd Day collection of Vishwaroopam and all news released film: UPdate

All six films released on 1st February took poor opening. Some of them got good critics review but unable to pull audiences into theaters. Destiny of these films is almost fixed.

“VISHWAROOPAM”

 Kamal Hassan most awaited film “Vishwaroopam”could not take good opening in Hindi version after getting big publicity (due to controversy). The film came into controversy before release due to content. Now, film got green signal and will be release in Tamil Nadu where it was bane on high court’s order.

The film opened with poor collection of around 1.80 crores on Friday. The film showed some improvement on Saturday and collected 2.40 crores. In two days it has collected 4.20 crores. This figure is not a reasonable amount form 1050 screens. The film will take another jump on Sunday but it could not make it hit in Hindi version.

“MAI”

This is debut film of eminent singer Asha Bhonsle’s as an actress. It received very good review but it fail to take good opening. The film has good content but lack of enough promotion fail to take good start. The film should take some jump on Sunday so that it can at least recover its production cost.

“DAVID”

This film has also taken poor opening around 00.70 crores. The film is released over a good number of screens and unable to take good opening. The film earned mixed reviews. The film took slight jump on Saturday and collected 90 crores which brings total two day collection 1.60 crores nett.  Future is almost fixed. It will collect around 2.70 crores on first weekend.

“LISTEN…… AMAYA” 

 This film has also taken poor opening. After a long time, Farukh Sheikh returns on silver screen but presence of Farukh Sheikh and good content could not pull audiences to the theaters. The film earned good reviews but fail to attract audience.

“DEEWANA MAIN DEEWANA”  

This is much delayed film of Govinda and Priyanka Chopra. Having big name Govinda, film fail to take good opening. Cause of poor opening may be long delay.

“MIDNIGHT CHILDREN” 

This is also a non starrer film unable to take good opening. If it take some jump on Sunday, then it will improve otherwise results of all film released this week is almost fixed.
