“Race 2” has done fantastic business in 1st
week and collected a decent amount 97 crores worldwidely. The film had done
outstanding business of 51.40 crores on first weekend which is indication of big
hit. The business on weekday was dropped more than 50% but at the end of 7th day
it able to manage around 24 crores which brings domestic collection more than
75 crores, a handsome amount.
The film is running
on the track of super hit movie and set to cross the bench mark of 100 crores worldwide
by 2nd Friday. It would be first 100 crores film of 2013 and Saif Ali Khan.
Abass Mastan’s directed movie is rocking on the box office.
Domestic Box office:
The film has
done fantastic business in first week and collected 75.45 crores. Performance on
Thursday was good and collected 5.20 crores. Since the film has no competition in
2nd week too, so it should collected around 15-18 crores on 2nd weekend and 22-24
in 2nd week. If it happens then film will cross the 100 crores bench mark at
the end of 2nd week. Life time collection on home box office looks around
110-115 crores and lifetime worldwide collection around 150 crores.
Overseas Box Office:
The film is doing
fantastic business on International box office and collected 21.60 crores in
first week. It will continue it performance in 2nd week and collection should
come around 7-10 crores. Life time overseas collection would come around 35
crores.
