After doing
fantastic business (15.60 cr) on 2nd weekend “Race 2” continues
good business on 2nd weekday. The film did decent business on Monday and
collected 1.70 crores. Now, it is 7 crores away from 100 crores benchmark and most
probable this benchmark would be achieved in next few weeks.
This film has
almost received the status of first hit film of 2013; So far whatever film has been
released, could not get success. Hence it would be addition honor for this film. So far, it has done fantastic business and collected
93.15 crores in 11 days and will collect
around 4.50 crores on remaining weekdays, that means it will collected around 97.50
crores in two weeks. But it will be replaced from big numbers of screens in next week by “Special
Chabbis” so collection would be badly affected therefore it will crawl and take
two to three weeks to touch the bench mark of 100 crores.
The film is
also doing very business on overseas centers and collected 25.30 crores and
brings the total worldwide collection 118 crores plus.
Saif Ali Khan can join Bollywood Arabian Club (
A Club of 1 arab or 100 crores film) in few weeks. He is only lead actor of
this film who did not get this honor. John Abraham (Housefull 2) and Deepika
Padukone (Housefull 2) already got this honor.
