A Good Day
to Die hard 5 finished first weekend on Indian box office and collected 7
crores. The film did average business on weekend which is socking. There was enough
buzz and it was expected that it will performed like The Avengers, Amazing Spiderman or
Skayfall but its performance on weekend is far away from these films.
The film
started slowly on Friday and improved little bit on Saturday with 2.25 crores.
Again it took some jump on Sunday and collected 2.75 crores. Now, weekend collection is 7 crores. First week
collection would come around 10 crores.
The film is
getting tough competition with “Kai Po Che” And Zila Ghaziabad” so it will
struggle on weekdays. Lifetime collection looks around 15-17 crores which would
be average for a Hollywood.
