“Race 2” is performing well in 2nd week. There is no any film to give
any competition and all new films released on 1st February is struggling but taken
a good number of screens; so business of the film is somewhat affected.
The film continues
it’s performance on second week and did a decent collection, 7.60 crores on
home box office in two days. The film already crossed the mark of 100 crores
worldwide on 8th day and hopes to cross this milestone on domestic box office too.
Domestic Box office:
The film did
good business on Saturday and gathered 4.10 crores on 2nd Saturday which brings
the total domestic collection 83.30 crores. 2nd weekend collection looks around
13 crores and 2nd week around 18-19 crores. Total domestic collection would
reach around 96 crores at the end of 2nd week.
On 8th Feb a
mega film of Super Star Akshay Kumar, “Special Chabbis” is releasing on mass
scale so it will be limited on few screens in few shows. So it will be interesting
to see, will it cross the mark of 100 crores? Life time collection on home box office looks
around 98-101 crores and lifetime worldwide collection around 130 crores.
Overseas Box Office:
The film continues
fantastic business on International box office on 2nd Saturday and collected
decent amount which brings the overseas collection around 23.80 crores. Life
time overseas collection would come around 30 crores.
Worldwide Colelction:
The film has
done fantastic business across the globe and in the journey of 9 days collected
107.30 crores worldwidely.
