Veena Malik kissed by 100 people, Broke Salman's record

Pakistani actress Veena Malik who, usually, stays in limelight by her unusual activities, once again is in limelight. This time not for nude session for some magazine but for gets kissed by more than 100 people on her birthday, 26th February, 2003.

She was kissed by 137 people on her hand in one minute and made a new Guinness world record. She broke Salman Khan’s previous record (108 kiss) made in a TV show “Guinness World Record – Ab India Todega” few years back.

This event was held on Veena’s birthday and the people who kissed on Veena’s hand were chosen through a contest ‘The City That Never Sleep- Bollywood Hunt’. Veena Mallik spoke out on this occasion, “Long back we decided that I will break this record on my birthday and now we have to break 19 more records for The City That Never Sleeps.”

She did it for publicity of her upcoming film “The City That Never Sleeps”

When media persons asked her, “Does she do this for publicity for her upcoming film?” She admitted affirmatively and said, “I am a celebrity anyway and if you say that it is for publicity, ok, yeah, we need publicity for “The City That Never Sleeps”.

She also expressed her desire to kiss Salman Khan on screens when asked, “which Bollywood actor she wants to kiss?”

Zila Ghaziabad 6th Day, Wednesday Collection

“Zila Ghaziabad” keeps on poor performance on box office and there is no remedy for it. It looks as people have no much interest in such kind of film and they have turned their face. 

The film did not take good opening even, having a big name Sanjay Dutt. Indeed, performance is not good and it is struggling on weekdays across the country except few territories where it’s doing above average.

The film did similar business on Wednesday and collected 1.30 crores which bring total domestic collection around 14 crores. It will finish first week with 15 crores plus. Next week it will lose good number of screens; therefore its performance will be badly affected. Right now, life time collection looks below 20 crores.

Kai Po Che 6th Day, Wednesday Collection (Worldwidely)

 “KAI PO CHE” is doing fairly well across the world. The film completed 6 days and collected 33.70 crores worldwidely. Indeed, if a film has good content it attracts audience; whether there are new faces or known faces, it does not matter. The film got status of hit film and it is celebration time for film maker and entire team.

The film did good business on Wednesday and added 2.60 crores to the total domestic collection which reach around 27 crores. Now, first week will finish above 29 crores. It has also surprised people with its overseas business. The film has done fantastic business there and collected 6.80 crores so far.

It will lose some screen on coming Friday due to two new releases; therefore collection will be somewhat affected. 2nd week’s performance will depend on performance new films if they perform well then its collection would be affected otherwise it will get advantage. Life time domestic collection looks around 40-44 crores and worldwide life time collection around 52 crores

Amitabh Bachcha will work with Anurag Kashyap

Once again, Millennium star Amitabh Bhachchan is going to play lead role in a film. Director Anurag Kashyap has offered him to work with him in his next untitled film as a lead actor.  Amitabh Bhachchan has accepted this offer and he is very excited. The film will be produced by Phantom Films. Earlier Big B had worked with Anurag in his short film “Bombay Talkies”. The film will come on floor by next year.

On this occasion, Big B said, “I am delighted to be working with Anurag, a director, who has through his rugged belief in his kind of cinema compelled us to fall in line with him. I have a general concept of the story and anxiously wait for him to begin shooting.”

On the other hand Anurag Kashyap said, “I am thrilled. Like everyone, I have also been a fan of Mr. Bachchan from my growing up years. Though I wanted to make a film with him for the longest time, I wanted to be sure that the role is something he has never done before. While working on the short film with him, I got this idea, which we discussed and he agreed.”
