Poor performance of “Shanghai” is continued on Box office. The trend developed on Monday is continued and it has collected 1.50 crores on Tuesday. Total collection of five days is 16.33 crores.It is Emraan Hashmi’s one of the poorest opener ever in long time.
“Shanghai” is not able to attract audience and it is going to include among one of the bad opener movie of 2012. This film is among those few films which got good review from critics but not get love of audience. It seems as there is great difference between test of audience and critics. The film which does not get good review, usually get hit, super-hit or blockbuster.
Same thing happened with “Shanghai”. It looks Emraan Hashmi’s fans is also disappointed with this movie. Recently he has given back to back three hit movie but this time his luck deceives him.
This film is badly affected with “Rowdy Rathore” which is doing fabulous business on the box office. It had collect 3.25 crores on Friday, 4.25 crores on Saturday and around 4.7 crores on Sunday. It is expected that film will collect in the range of01-01.50 crores on Wednesday. The expected first week collection would be in the range of 17-19 crores.
