Magic of “Rowdy Rathore” is continuing on the box office; it is still doing magnificent business in third week. It has done good business on third Wednesday and collected 1.50 crores.
In twenty one days its total earning reached at 184.65 crores (including satellite & music right). Now it is officially blockbuster with over 125 crores domestic collection. In six week Housefull-2 had collected 112.50 crores. Total domestic collection on third Wednesday is 128.35 crores and total worldwide collection till third Wednesday is 144.65 crores.
Now it left behind Ra. One with 115 crores, Agneepath with 120 crores and Reddy with 121 crores and emerged as the Fourth Highest Grosser of all times. If Rowdy Rathore had been released in festive session it would have been crossed Bodyguard and Dabangg in third week.
Now there is new challenge ahead it. On Friday, a romantic movie “Teri Meri Kahaani” is going to release. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are in lead role. So it looks that it would be difficult for it to go near bodyguard or Dabangg, which were both around 140 crores.

So Rowdy Rathore is a blockbuster. It would have definitely crossed Dabbang and Bodyguard if it had a 5 day weekend or if it was released in festival period like those movies had. So Rowdy Rathore has set a record in the non festival period and even House full 2 released in IPL period when no superstar films release collected 112.50 crores which is a record in IPL period. So Akshay Kumar is ruling once again . Now we are waiting for Joker. Roll it on Superstar Akshay.
