R Rajkumar Weekend Collection

R Rajkumar had release over 2300 screens across the country on Friday; the film took good opening and emerged as biggest opener film of Shahid Kapoor who was desperately looking for good start. For last two years his star was not favoring. The film collected around 10.20 crores on Friday and did little bit less on Saturday and collected around 9.50 crores.

But film took good jump on Sunday and collected around 13 crores. Figure can vary because reports are still coming. Overall film has done decent business on weekend and collected round 32.70 crores.

This is good news for Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha too, because after wonderful success in 2012, Sonakhi Sinha has not seen any hit film in 2013. If film continues similar business on weekdays film can get hit status.

So far it has done decent business and has 10 days to do free business. On 22nd December, Amir Khan’s mega film “Dhoom 3” is releasing so film will be restricted on fewer screens onward and growth will be tiny.
