R Rajkumar is doing decent business on weekdays and gradually
extending towards satisfactory first week collection. Film has another week for
free running till 19th December. Amir Khan’s mega film is releasing on 20th December
so film will be restricted on fewer screens but there is no point to ponder for
makers the way film is performing it will get hit status.
The film had done good business on weekend and whatever illusion
about weekdays business was, was removed when film sustained well on Monday and
onward. The film has completed 6 day on box office and collected around 44.85
crores. The film collected consecutively 5.30, 4.65, and 4.15 crores on Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday and likely to finish first week around 48 crores.
You can hope film will do good business on 2nd weekend and
enter hit zone. This is great news for Shahid Kapoor who was looking for a hit
film and it is also good news for Sonakshi Sinha who got first hit of 2013 in
last of year.
