"Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" is doing amazing business across the
country; the film had released on 31st May and had bumper opening 19.45 crores,
though it could not break Dabangg 2’s opening record by small margin but it become biggest opener
film of Ranbir Kapoor, super star of new generation and Deepika Padukone.
Film is mega blockbuster and still has possibility to become
highest grosser of Indian cinema. Right now, it becomes third highest grosser
followed by Three Idiots (202 cr) and Ek Tha Tiger (188 cr) in progressing third
week and in coming days it can break Three Idiots record.
The film had done earth shattering business in first week
with 107. 60 crores and 47 crores in second week. This is second film after
Three Idiots that collected more than 45 crores in 2nd week.
Third week is on and so far it has collected around 20 crores
and expected to finish around 24 crores which would be outstanding figure. The
film is very strong and faints aspect of new released films. It is expected that
it will continue outstanding business in coming week and cross the magic figure
of 200 crores.
The film has done nice business on third Tuesday and
collected 2.05 crores which brings total domestic box office collection around
172.55 crores and total worldwide collection around 223.45 crores.
