Ajay Devgan’s latest movie” Tezz” has released on Friday and it received a mixed response of audience. It has taken an average opening of just 35%. It has been badly affected by Avengers.
“Avengers” is the 2nd Largest Hollywood movie ever made at an Budget of $ 200 million right behind Avatar.
There is average presence of audience in theater as far as "Tezz" is concerned, it is only 35%. There is less chances that the Film will be able to hold up in forthcoming days. If we talk about “Avengers”, the review is excellent, and more and more audience is willing to watch that . So, Tezz will have to struggle at the box office.
First Day Box office collection of “Tezz” is about 3.5 crores. This is a poor figure. it is released on 2000 screen whenever “Avengers” is released on only 800 screens. “Tezz” might put up better collections in India.
It is doing good business in the single screens, as “Avengers” is only a Multiplex Film. At some places, Vicky Donor is being preferred over "Tezz".
“Tezz" takes a slow start but “Avengers” takes a huge opening.
Single screens were better as expected but the presence of audience in multiplex remained low around 35%. Film looks to struggle at box office. This is a very poor opening if we keep in mind the recent box office performance of Ajay Devgan.
On the other hand Hollywood release “Avengers” opened to 90% and is set to break biggest opening record of Hollywood film in India currently held by “MI4”. It should easily collect around 4-5 crore on its 1st day.
