Jannat 2 is a sequel of Jannat, which was made in 2008. It was a super-hit movie. Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan had played lead roll. Once again Emraan Hashmi is playing the lead role in Jannat-2. This is a Bollywood crime thriller and it is directed by Kunal Deshmuksh who had directed Jannat. It is produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt who are mamu (maternal uncle) of Imraan Hashmi in real life.
It has been said that Esha Gupta has been selected as the actress for Jannat 2 among Prachi Deshai, Kangna Ranaut and others, she has replaced Sonal Chauhan (actress of Jannat). The story is based upon the issue of illegal arms smuggling in Delhi.
Jannat 2 songs have already been leaked on Internet a month ago and it has got positive response for the music lovers and for filmmakers also. Randeep Hooda and Imran Zahid are other main cast of the film. Jannat-2 First look has been revealed earlier on 15th march by releasing a Teaser video of Jannat 2
Movie story:
Whereas In Jannat (2oo8), Arjun was a cricket match fixer and he was working for underworld don Abu Ibrahim. And Abu Ibrahim was doing arms smuggling form these earned rupees by Arjun. This time in Jannat 2 Emraan Hashmi is associated to arms smuggling stuff as one can see form the teaser released.
It’s an old school romance which is revolving around a small -town guy who comes to the metro city looking for great fortune and fall in love with a girl (Esha Gupta). Emraan Hashmi is doing anything to get her love, like Arjun did in Jannat for Zoya.
