Akshay Kumar’s starrer film “Housefull 3 “ maintained a nice
pace at the global box office by grossing over Rs 100 crore just in four days. “Housefull3” become second fastest film of the year after Shahrukh Khan’s Fan but soon it
will overtake it and beat Fan on domestic box office.
Film had released over 3700 screen on last Friday. Film
opened with a good figure of Rs 15.21 crores on Friday and thrives on Saturday
with final figure of 16. 50 crores. Film took huge jump on Sunday and accumulated
21.25 crores. Film follows the track of Akshay's last film "Airlift".
Housefull 3 finished weekend with fantastic figure of 53.21
crores. Though film got very negative reviews as Akshay Kumar had doubted in
his promotional campaign in “Kapil Sharma show”, but film got positive public response.
Film does very well in multiplex but little less in single screen.
Weekday Test: Film successful passed weekday test as
collected 8.21 and 7.25 crore on Monday and Tuesday. Film showed 45% drop on Monday
from Friday that is usual phenomena on weekday. Housefull 3 has collected 69 crores on domestic
box office and 26.77 crores on overseas box office on weekend. Film likely to finish
first week between 78-80 crores domestically and cross 100 crore benchmark on
2nd weekend.
