Jungle Book rocks in India and about to emerge as first 100
crore Hollywood film. If it happens it would be biggest hit of any Hollywood film.
It already emerged as second big hit of year after Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift”
released in January before completing first week.
Indeed, film did fantastic business in first week and
collected around 80 cores. Before release of SRK’s Fan, there was some suspense
over screen count in second week but performance in first week help it to
sustain a good number of screens that is why film did very well on second Friday
and manage to collect 8 crores.
Now it will finish second weekend around 30
crores and second week around 45 crore and sure to cross 100 crores bar. First Hollywood
blockbuster in India.
Indeed film does very well and main reason behind this
success is very familiar character and a long enough connection with Mogli,
Baghira or other characters. People are connected with these character for last
25 years.
