“Student Of
The Year” took fantastic opening on Friday. Occupancy in multiplexes was 60-65%
and average in single screens. Film will do well in multiplexes but less chance
to improve in single screens. It is multiplex dominated movie hence it will do
better in metro and big cities.
“SOTY” took
very good start in Delhi and NCR but average in small towns. Film will show some
jump on Saturday but big jump is expected on Sunday. Expected opening days
collection will come in range of 7.50-8.00 crores. Further business depends on
expert’s reviews and word of mouth. 1st weekend 22-25 crores and 1st week 32-35
crores.
