“STUDENT OF THE YEAR” has done
outstanding business on 1st weekend and bagged 28.75 crores in its bag. It is
getting immense love of youth. Though film has received mixed critics review but
audience is not taking care of expert’s reviews and visiting nearby theaters to
judge themselves. As the trend has developed it is clear cut indication of hit.
Film will
run on the box office uninterrupted till Diwali. Karan Johar’s experiment with
three new faces has got grand success on the box office. And it can be said
that Karan has enough understanding to know the test of audience.
Film is
performing stupendously at Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Gurgown, Ghaziabad, Fridabad,
Banglore, East Punjab, Bihar and Mysore. It showed good improvement at UP, CP
and CI where it was average.
There was
15% jump on Sunday from Saturday and it has done fabulous business and garnered
10.75 crores.
It will continue its business in next two weeks without competition. 1st
weekend collection has come around 29 crores and 1st week will come around 45
crores. Life time collection on home box office looks around 70-75 crores
