“OH MY GOD” is doing outstanding
business on weekday and proved all previous prediction wrong that was
established on opening days. This is magic of great and unique content as well
as stupendous word of mouth. The film got advantage of nation holiday and
collected an amazing number, 8 crores on Tuesday whenever evening and night
shows were affected by a decisive 2TC World Cup match between India and South
Africa.
The film is
doing far better on weekdays and giving an additional message, if content is
nice it works. People are so impressed with film that their views began to change.
I am continuously getting such remarks that changed people’s mind. So it is
clear that this film will flourished on the box office for next 3-4 weeks and collection
would be amazing like ‘Barfi’.
As we have
seen earlier in the case of Vicky Donor and Kahaani. These two film had not
good opening but it did very well later. This happened because people liked the
content. “OMG” has done very well in last
five days after slow opening and collected 29.25 crores on domestic box office.
The film is also doing fantastic business in overseas whenever it is banned in
some counties although it managed 4.25
crores.
The film has
collected 33.50 crores worldwidely in five days and now, first week collection
looks around 35-38 crores. The film is going to get the status of super hit
film soon and its lifetime collection would be more than 50-60 crores.
