Chennai Express - Awesome, 3rd Week Worldwide Collection

“Chennai Express” has completed 21 days journey on the home box office and set a new benchmark for forthcoming film. The film received honor of being highest grosser film of Indian cinema by breaking four years old Amir Khan’s film “3 Idiots’ record”. The film broke almost all previous records and it will be tough for any film to go beyond it.

If we talk about performance, it was super in either it was first, second or third week. The film done more than expectation in every week and surprised everyone. The film continues fantastic performance in 3rd week collected more than 16 crores. Now, total domestic collection is more than 212 crores and total worldwide collection is more than 320 crores.

Madras Cafe - Decent, 1st Week Collection

Madras Café has completed first week decently; the film had started slowly in initial show on first but film got grew later by positive reviews and positive public response. This is very good figure for a niche film and more than expectation.

The film had performed well on weekend and garnered 21 + further it holds well on weekdays. It got advantage of holiday and garnered around 12 crores. Now, after 7 day’s journey, its total domestic collection is 33 crores plus. 

Film holds good number of screen in second week and expeted to continues performance but its performace can get affetected by performance of mega film “Satyagraha”. Right now, life time collection looks around 40-45 crores but it can touch 50 crores mark.
