Himmatwala 4thd Day, Monday Worldwide Collection Update

It looks as starting New Year with flop film becomes destiny of Ajay Devgyn; last year “Tezz” had performed badly and registered as one of the disaster movie of the year. Now, his latest film “Himmatwala” is running on the same track. The film finished first weekend with disappointing figure, 26.50 crores and started weekday with same trend.

The film showed big fall from Sunday and registered around 60-70% drop in multiplex and 45-50% on single screens across the country. Drop at some places was up to 70-80%. It seems that audience is gathering himmat (courage) to watch out Himmatwala, at least at urban area. So destiny is almost fixed, film failed to impress audience and negative word of mouth is making its way difficult on coming days.

It collected around 4.50 crores on Monday and it bring total domestic collection 32 nett and worldwide collection 37.24 crores. First week will finish around 40 crores and life time collection would come around 50-55 crores. Film will not recover even production cost.

Himmatwala 1st Weekend Collection

“Himmatwala” is an action comedy film embellished with Super star Ajay Devgyn and south’s fascinating actress Tammana Bhatia in lead role. The film is directed by Sajid Khan who made multiple claims before release so everybody was impatiently waiting for most hyped film of 2013, with plenty of expectation.

The day came when it released but it started to give surprise from initial show. The film started slowly in morning show and grew as day progressed but not so much. After initial show film experts and critics gave their verdict which was very negative. 

They pulled leg of director Sajid Khan for bad direction, excess dialoguebazi and over dose of action but there was hope with word of mouth which was mixed on day first but soon it converted into negative on Saturday.

The film collected 10.50 crores on opening day and declined on Saturday resultantly it gathered only 7.50 crores. Further it took slight jump on Sunday and collected 8.5 crores which is poor figure. The film finished first weekend with very disappointing figure 26.50 crores and destiny is almost fixed. 

Now it would be tough even to recover production cost. It will show big drop on weekday and finished first week around 40 crores which is minimum expected weekend collection. Performance in mass area like Bihar, UP, Gujrat, Rajsthan  is good but it is not enough to make it a hit film
